New Class: Foundations of Strength Flow

Fridays

4:00-5:00pm

*membership, class card or drop in

Led by Autumn

This sequence blends classic yoga structure with strength training principles. Through intentional holds, steady breath, and fluid transitions, you’ll challenge major muscle groups while sharpening mental focus. Expect to leave with a stronger frame, steadier balance, and a clearer mind.

MEET AUTUMN:

Autumn completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2024 under the guidance of Jill at Wildwood Yoga & Wellness. In addition to her love for yoga, she is an avid marathon runner and enjoys weight training. As a nurse, Reiki Master, and yoga instructor, Autumn is passionate about promoting health and balance—physically, mentally, and spiritually. She believes in cultivating both a strong physical practice and a deep inner exploration toward one’s true self, and she strives to support her students in connecting with their bodies and discovering their inner strength.

Sanctuary Sound - Sound Journey of Gratitude

Friday, 11/21

6:30- 8:00pm

$40

Led by Mark

For the month of November, we are encouraged to embrace an attitude of Gratitude by appreciating our life as it is right now! Mark Biehl presents a sound healing ceremony to align with the frequencies of abundance and love, send out positive vibrations, and allow all that is good to flow naturally toward us in a harmonious relationship of joyful being. Merging the vibrational energies of over twenty beautifully tuned Himalayan singing bowls, wind gongs, deep drumming, melodious flute and vocal mantra, we are transported into blissful awareness where our own inner light is revealed and new life awakens.

"If you concentrate on finding whatever is good in every situation, you will discover that your life will suddenly be filled with gratitude, a feeling that nurtures the soul." -Harold Kushner

Please bring your own yoga mat, blanket, pillow, and eye covering (optional). Dress comfortably and bring some water to drink. It's preferable not to eat for an hour prior.

COMMUNITY CLASS

Saturday, 11/22

4:00 - 5:00pm

*FREE

Led by Emily

Join us for a free community yoga class for all levels led by Emily, our newest 2025 Teacher Training graduate. This special class marks the culmination of months of learning, practice, and growth. Come celebrate as Emily shares her heart, voice, and love of yoga with our Wildwood community.

Emily took her first yoga class on January 1, 2012. She quickly loved the movement and practice. However, she wasn’t consistent with her practice until June 2023. Emily was experiencing anxiety from past trauma and grief from the sudden loss of her father. Practicing yoga allowed her to mindfully move her body while gently inviting her to give time back to herself. Slowly, with intension, the practice of yoga and inward reflection helped her calm her anxious and grieving heart. At the same time, yoga helped Emily find community, playfulness, and a sense of calm, which she incorporates into each of her classes. Emily completed her 200 hr. Yoga Teacher Training studying under the instruction of Jill Dunlap and Joy Page in 2025. In her free time, you can find Emily and her husband walking their 3 rescue dogs or reading a good book.

Teacher Training 2026

Starting on April 11th....

Wildwood Yoga and Joy of Yoga will be conducting a 200HR Registered Yoga Alliance Teacher Training and Immersion for anyone wanting to become a certified yoga teacher or those that would like to immerse themselves into their physical practice and understanding of yoga's history, philosophy and practical application in today's world.

What makes this Yoga Teacher Training Distinct?

Joy and Jill created this training curriculum which emphasizes anatomy, alignment, philosophy, meditation, spiritual practices, and the mythical teachings and stories from India.

During this training, students will cultivate a spiritual practice, reflecting our belief that the spiritual dimensions of yoga are as essential to teacher development as the physical. Alongside this, students will develop skills and education around Trauma-informed yoga, ensuring a compassionate and aware approach to teaching. Over the course of 10 months, our group will learn and develop a meditation practice together. Additionally, a guest teacher from India will enrich the experience by sharing mythical stories, kirtan, mantra, and practical Indian philosophy, offering a profound insight into the tradition. Following the training, our mentorship program continues to enhance students’ skills as yoga teachers.

Jill Dunlap and Joy Page co-created the hatha based curriculum that will be the basis for this training. Each weekend we will explore a different Hindu Deity. During that weekend we will weave the iconography, mythology, mantras and energy/role of that deity throughout the philosophy teachings, meditations and chanting.

As an added bonus to our training, each student receives Unlimited Free Yoga at both Joy of Yoga and Wildwood Yoga for the duration of the teacher training.

Teacher Training will take place over 10 weekends & 1 LIVE Zoom meeting/month in 2026.
